Volunteers lauded as heroes

As of March 5, the 21th Chinese Volunteer Service Day, there were total of 3,915 volunteers working tirelessly in eight sub-districts in Optics Valley. They were assisting the community in door-to-door investigations, guarding the community, as well as disinfecting streets and buildings. They were also helping residents buy medicine and vegetables, taking care of seniors, providing counseling --even entering hospitals and medical isolation points to help patients during the current novel coronavirus outbreak.
