The conference attracted representatives from nearly 100 leading semiconductor companies, research institutions, and investment firms worldwide, with participants from chip manufacturing, semiconductor equipment, materials, and electronic components discussing research and development, supply chain collaboration, project partnerships, and talent needs.
The zone presented its achievements in the integrated circuit industry to global partners, showing that, over the past two decades, it has emerged as one of China's four major integrated circuit industry bases, hosting over 300 companies, with its output value skyrocketing from 5 billion yuan ($724 million) in 2014 to 120 billion yuan in 2025.
OVC companies such as Jiufengshan Laboratory, HG Laser, and Glory Road Precision Technology showcased their cutting-edge products, with Glory Road highlighting its active vibration-isolation series, which is internationally recognized for its superior performance in semiconductor equipment.
OVC also hosted the Qiyunfang Ecosystem Partner Exchange, engaging with over 10 partners and inviting businesses to establish operations in the zone.
The zone aims to enhance its industrial ecosystem, attract more top-tier projects and innovative resources, and accelerate the development of a world-class integrated computing and storage industry base, further establishing itself as a "World Optical Valley".
