OVC companies shine at 2026 OFC conference and exhibition
Leading companies from the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC), including YOFC, Accelink, and HG Genuine, made an impressive showing at the 51st Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition (OFC) held in Los Angeles. These companies showcased their latest products and technologies alongside global peers in the optical communications field.
OFC is the world's largest and most influential academic and industry event in optical communications. This year's conference commenced on March 17 and spanned three days, attracting over 16,000 professionals from 90 countries and regions, with more than 700 companies participating.

The conference focused on the next-generation evolution of optical interconnect technologies. HG Genuine unveiled its new Single-Wavelength 400G Optical Engine Pro, designed to meet the demands of AI computing power networks and next-generation ultra-high-speed optical communication technologies.
The conference also featured many academic sessions. As the world's largest supplier of optical preforms, fibers, and cables, YOFC presented over 20 papers, setting a new record. Their hollow-core fiber has been deployed in commercial and pilot projects across Asia and Europe.
