As Chinese New Year approaches, 14 major roads and surrounding areas in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC), including Gaoxin Avenue, Guanshan Avenue, Minzu Avenue, Jiufeng Road, and Huacheng Avenue, are decorated with red lanterns and Chinese knots. The festive colors create a joyful atmosphere that captivates passersby.

When night falls, the decorated roads are instantly filled with the spirit of Chinese New Year. These lantern displays will run from Feb 10 to March 4, covering key festive dates such as Little New Year (Xiao Nian), Chinese New Year's Eve (Chu Xi), and the Lantern Festival.
