Pfizer Wuhan R&D Center celebrates 15th anniversary
The Pfizer Wuhan R&D Center celebrated its 15th anniversary on Oct 22 in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC). The event was attended by Zhong Fuping, director of Biolake, along with Pfizer's global vice presidents Edith Eby and Kamran Ansari, all of whom delivered speeches.

Also present were He Haiqiang, deputy director of Biolake; Demetris Zambas, head of Clinical Data and Information Science at Pfizer; Sarah Tweedy, head of Global Strategy and Academic Partnerships; and Rachel Lewis, regional cooperation director.
Established in 2010 in OVC, the Pfizer Wuhan R&D Center was the first Fortune Global 500 pharmaceutical company to settle in Biolake. It is one of Pfizer's three R&D centers in China.
Over the past 15 years, Pfizer Wuhan has focused on global biological and pharmaceutical research and development. It has provided comprehensive support for Pfizer's global clinical drug development projects, including clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory affairs. Today, the center is recognized as a key R&D hub for Pfizer in the Asia-Pacific region.
