OVC accelerates embodied intelligence industry development
Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) hosted a pivotal meeting at the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center to advance the embodied intelligence industry on Oct 16. Hubei Science Technology Investment Group Co presented the phased achievements and future plans of the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center in serving enterprises. Each participating company shared recent developments, detailing their product functionalities and potential application scenarios.
Department heads at the event offered suggestions and discussed how to provide richer application scenarios and stronger policy support to facilitate the practical application and validation of humanoid robots.
Qian Deping, deputy director of OVC's administrative committee, emphasized the ongoing commitment to supporting the embodied intelligence industry. He assured that the zone will continue to coordinate resources and create a conducive environment for businesses, accelerating the application of humanoid robot and enhancing competitive advantages.
OVC now hosts over 30 humanoid robot-related enterprises, including six complete machine companies and various component manufacturers. The zone aims to use application scenarios to drive technological innovation and industrial upgrading, ensuring new technologies in humanoid robotics are applied and iterated rapidly.
