The 2025 Yuewen Creative Conference kicked off in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) on Oct 16. The event introduced the "Creative Partner Program" and the "Global Trendy Toy Co-Creation Plan", inviting users, writers, and industry partners to collaboratively usher in a golden era of Chinese super intellectual property (IP) works.

As Yuewen Group's most influential annual event, the conference features a main forum, specialized sub-forums, and creator field trips. It brings together over 500 leading creators and top companies from the anime, film, short drama, and derivative product industries.

Shen Yue, secretary of the Party working committee of the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone, announced plans to introduce special support policies for the micro-short drama industry in OVC at the event. The zone will enhance collaboration across the industry chain and promote the application of AI technology in creation and IP operations. The goal is to establish OVC as a national hub for tech-cultural industry development.

Yuewen Group, a leader in China's online literature and IP ecosystem, has built the world's largest digital literary platform and pioneered a distinctive Chinese IP development model. In June, the Yuewen Digital Content Industry Base was established in OVC, offering writers and top IP creators comprehensive one-stop services from creation to incubation.

Yuewen Group intends to comprehensively develop its comic drama ecosystem by establishing a special creation fund of 100 million yuan ($14.04 million) and building a comprehensive collaboration system for co-creating short and comic dramas. In the field of trendy toy derivatives, the group is recruiting top global creative talent to incubate original trendy toy IPs and create visual representations of Yuewen's IPs, aiming to establish a new cultural consumption ecosystem.
