17th China Bioindustry Convention yields fruitful results
On Sept 4, the 17th China Bioindustry Convention witnessed the establishment of the "Digital Health Industry Alliance" and the release of the "Optics Valley Digital Health Three-Year Action White Paper". Agreements on several med-tech integration projects to be based in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) were signed.

At the Optics Valley Digital Health Industry Innovation Forum, the "Digital Health Industry Alliance" was launched by seven leading companies, including China Telecom, China Mobile, and B-soft Co. The event also showcased innovative achievements such as an integrated smart hospital platform and advanced medical AI models.
During the convention, OVC also unveiled the "Optics Valley Digital Health Three-Year Action White Paper", outlining strategic goals for the next three years in areas such as digital healthcare, data sharing, and industry collaboration.

Meanwhile, companies like Xinmai Jikong Medical Technology, Neishitong Medical, Mengyi Medical, and Huateng Xichuang signed agreements with the Optics Valley Medical Device Innovation Service Center on four med-tech integration projects. These projects, currently in the proof-of-concept stage, aim to deliver new treatment solutions for cardiovascular diseases, kidney stones, thyroid nodules, and orthopedic conditions once they reach the market.
OVC has developed a robust health industry cluster, focusing on smart healthcare, health big data, medical AI, and high-end pharmaceuticals and devices. This ecosystem has nurtured a number of industry-leading companies and innovative products with core competitiveness, establishing a comprehensive industrial chain from R&D and testing to production and clinical application.
