This autumn, 10 new or expanded primary and secondary schools will open in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC), increasing student enrollment capacity by an estimated 14,000.

The new schools include Optics Valley 15th Primary School (Wuran Campus), Optics Valley 18th Primary School (East Campus), Optics Valley Luanting Primary School, Optics Valley Tangxunhu School South Campus (Junior High Division), and Wuhan New City Experimental High School.

Featuring top-notch faculty, the Optics Valley Science and Innovation Experimental Junior Middle School will open its doors this fall. "With my child transitioning to junior high next year, having a new school nearby makes commuting much easier," said resident Liu Xiangyang.

Yunxi Primary School, a renowned "Nature Classroom", is also set to debut soon. Boasting a 360-degree panoramic forest library and a rooftop "sky playground", children will be able to enjoy a full view of the azure skies overhead. Within the "Yunxi Family Kitchen", professionally curated menus by nutritionists ensure a blend of health and taste every day.

Currently, OVC is home to 59 primary and secondary schools, 164 kindergartens, and two international schools, forming a quality education network.
