A 1-billion-yuan investment fund for the humanoid robot industry will also be established in Wuhan as part of the creation of a 10-billion-yuan master fund for humanoid robots and artificial intelligence (AI) in Hubei province to facilitate the listing of humanoid robot enterprises.

Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) has assembled three academician teams and collaborated with 33 universities that offer AI programs, bringing together five complete machine enterprises and 13 core companies and achieving an 85 percent coverage rate for 31 key components.
