The Administrative Committee of the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on June 16 with YHKT Entertainment, marking the establishment of a digital content industry base in OVC.

The signing ceremony was attended by Shen Yue, secretary of the Party Working Committee of OVC, Hou Xiaonan, CEO and president of Yuewen Group, and Ruan Rui, chairman and CEO of YHKT Entertainment.

This collaboration utilizes Yuewen's intellectual property (IP) management capabilities and YHKT's digital content creation expertise to establish the Yuewen Digital Content Industry Base, with a focus on producing digital content, including IP-based animation works. It is expected to attract upstream and downstream enterprises in animation, music, and derivative product operations, establishing a leading national digital content industry base.

Shen Yue expressed gratitude for Yuewen's confidence in OVC and hopes that this partnership will catalyze the formation of an integrated ecosystem with enterprises. He emphasized a commitment to continuously optimizing services for enterprises based on industry needs, extending innovation, and enhancing industry, supply, and value chains to support rapid enterprise development.

Hou Xiaonan highlighted OVC's favorable digital content environment and abundant talent resources from local universities. He noted that Yuewen will continue to introduce high-quality industrial resources, working with YHKT to explore the industrialization of content and create more influential cultural products.
