OVC welcomes two new 'oxygen bars'
Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) has welcomed two new green "oxygen bars" with the opening of Huanglong Mountain Park and the completion of the Jiufengxi Flood Control Project. These new spaces provide residents with a place to live, socialize, and enjoy nature.
Huanglong Mountain Park spans approximately 25.13 hectares and is designed to blend with the natural mountainous terrain. The park's development took into account the needs of residents, enhancing greenery, expanding the road network, and improving facilities to create a model ecological park.

The park features a landscape framework called "One Belt, Four Gardens". The "One Belt" extends along the east-west ridge of Huanglong Mountain to Erfei Mountain, forming an urban forest belt. The "Four Gardens" include an Entertainment Garden, Water Garden, Forest Garden, and Flower Garden.
The Jiufengxi Flood Control Project is a crucial part of the Baoxie Lake Basin management. The project has transformed a previously single-function flood channel into a multi-layered, lush, and efficient ecological corridor through systematic environmental renovation.

In alignment with OVC's life and health industry, the project features a pedestrian bridge shaped in a helix structure like DNA. The waterside bridge, with its dynamic three-dimensional design, offers a changing visual experience, bringing residents closer to nature.
Now, Jiufengxi has not only enhanced its flood control capacity but also serves as a new waterfront landmark thanks to its scenic design, providing residents with a new shared living space for leisure and relaxation.
