Twenty major investment projects were signed during the opening ceremony, covering fields such as optical communication, integrated circuits, compound semiconductors, and artificial intelligence, with a total contract value of 19.52 billion yuan ($2.7 billion). Ten major technical trade cooperation agreements were also signed on-site.
International participation at this year's expo reached new heights, with global giants like Ocean Optics and Agilent Technologies from the US and Crystaltechno from Russia making their debuts in the laser and optics exhibition area.
The expo has also become a premier platform for launching frontier technologies in the global optoelectronics field. Nearly 400 exhibitors unveiled over 1,000 innovative products, with approximately 100 making their debut, setting another record. The release ceremony for representative products featured the launch of 10 flagship products, garnering significant attention.
Since its inception in 2002, the OVC Expo has grown into a top-tier international event, driving technological breakthroughs, expanding application scenarios, and leading industry development.
