"This is our latest integrated orthopedic surgery robot for spinal trauma," said the head of scientific cooperation at Wuhan United Imaging Surgical Co (UIS), introducing their robot, which can make intelligent pre-surgery decisions and provide precise navigation during surgery. It is poised to become a valuable assistant to orthopedic surgeons.

The Wuhan Institute of Industrial Innovation and Development and several innovative units toured the expo. Song Yang, a representative from the institute, visited over 20 companies in just one morning. She said, "Through this expo, we hope to understand the latest trends, meet more peers, and expand the application market for our new products."

The expo has facilitated the growth of numerous OVC enterprises. "Four years ago, we launched our first-generation photoacoustic medical imaging product at the third World Health Expo," said Xiao Dan, deputy general manager of Union Photoacoustic Technologies. "In the future, we will employ the innovative ecosystem of OVC to develop more high-end domestic medical imaging equipment."

OVC's Biolake is home to over 4,200 renowned domestic and international enterprises, including three leading companies with revenues exceeding 10 billion yuan ($1.36 billion), seven local listed companies, and over 500 high-tech enterprises. More than 400 Class I new drugs are under development, and over 1,400 Class II and III medical devices are certified.
