OVC company's electrical products and services go global
Shenglong Electric's products and services have reached over 50 countries worldwide, showcasing China's manufacturing prowess in electrical distribution on the international stage, highlighted Xie Qinglun, vice-chairman of Shenglong Electric, at Hubei province's exchange meeting for supporting private enterprises in expanding overseas markets on Feb 26.
The company, based in the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC), focuses on designing smart energy systems, manufacturing intelligent power distribution equipment, and offering integrated services for energy internet engineering.
In Sri Lanka, all electrical equipment for the Hambantota International Port and Colombo South Port projects are sourced from Shenglong Electric, setting a benchmark for Sino-Sri Lankan cooperation with outstanding performance and reliable quality.
The company constructed the Kurdistan Photovoltaic Power Station in Iraq, the region's first clean energy project. The project, which cost 1.5 billion yuan ($250.83 million), alleviates local power shortages and facilitates the region's transition toward renewable energy.
Xie also shared Shenglong Electric's globalization experience, including shaping global influence through branding and marketing, driving globalization through management innovation, co-building a new ecosystem through industrial synergy, and promoting technology implementation through industry-academia-research integration.
In the future, the company will continue to focus on creating an intelligent power consumption ecosystem, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships, and using a "localization + brand shaping + ecosystem integration" model to expedite further growth in overseas markets.
