Hong Kong publishing giant joins forces with OVC enterprise

On Feb 14, a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement was reached between Digital Communication Group (DCG), headquartered in the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC), and the Hong-Kong-based Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited (SUP).

SUP operates several renowned publishing houses that have served Hong Kong for over a century, and it has become Hong Kong's most influential and comprehensive publishing media group. In recent years, SUP has actively embraced emerging technologies to expedite transformation, upgrading, and innovation in its operations.

Fu Weizhong, chairman of SUP, emphasized that the collaboration between SUP and DCG is a crucial move in the group's strategy to develop artificial intelligence. This partnership is expected to expand SUP's business steadily in the ever-evolving market and enhance its core competitiveness.

Chen Minqi, DCG's chief operating officer, highlighted DCG's significant advancements in technological innovation and market expansion over the past year. He said that the group has established a comprehensive artificial intelligence generated content product service matrix that covers the entire publishing process.

Li Xihuan, DCG's overseas chief executive officer, emphasized the launch of the WHATSBOOK service tailored for the global publishing sector.

This strategic partnership marks an important step forward for DCG's expansion in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. Relying on its technological innovation advantages and help from SUP, DCG aims to achieve high-quality integrated development in publishing sector in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
