As intelligent vehicle functionalities continue to advance, the number of electronic control units (ECUs) used to manage automotive electronic software is increasing, extending from electronic automatic transmissions to vehicle safety, networking, entertainment, and sensor control systems. As the "brains" of these systems, domain controllers are becoming key to simplifying this complexity in the evolution of automotive electronic and electrical architectures.

"The domestic market value of domain controllers is expected to exceed 80 billion yuan ($11.27 billion) by 2025," said Wang Xianbin, vice president of Gasgoo Auto Research Institute. Currently, automakers and parts suppliers are developing and applying domain controllers in five main areas – powertrain, chassis, vehicle body, cockpit, and autonomous driving.

"Kotei Informatics has been deeply involved in the field of automotive domain controllers and multi-domain integration for over 20 years. Our products serve leading enterprises both domestically and internationally. We pioneered the 'Super Software Factory', introducing large model technology to empower the software development process, and enabling engineers to achieve efficient and high-quality product development," said Wang Junde, CEO of Wuhan Kotei Informatics Co.

In the era of software-based vehicles, Kotei Informatics has established an Intelligent Connected Vehicle Software Industrial Park in OVC, capable of accommodating 5,000 engineers and ecosystem partners, promoting the integration of the automotive and software industries. "OVC has gathered top talents and has a complete industrial chain. We believe it will become a global beacon for the intelligent vehicle industry," Wang added.
