On Feb 1, smartphone maker Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Spring Festival Sci-tech Product Shopping Festival in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC). At Gaoxin Avenue Station of the Optics Valley sky rail, a film exhibition is taking place, featuring six enormous screens that display Spring Festival films.

The exhibition has four themes and was created by five renowned photographers. It will run until Feb 24.

Approximately 20 Xiaomi flagship stores, known as Mi Home, near the valley are offering a special promotion: with a purchase of 2024 yuan ($281.94) or more, customers will receive tickets to the film exhibition.

During this Xiaomi Sci-tech Product Shopping Festival, visitors to Xiaomi's flagship stores in Hubei can receive coupon packages worth up to 800 yuan, and with every purchase, they can participate in a scratch-and-win game that includes prizes such as cash bonuses.
