Some 324 road sections of the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC), stretching 336.43 kilometers in length, have been approved to be part of Wuhan's 10th batch of intelligent connected vehicle (ICV) open test roads.

So far, the valley boasts more than 513 km of municipal ICV open test roads, which cover its core areas.

Optics Valley Traffic Co, together with its subsidiary, has been advancing open test road operations in order to facilitate the high-tech development of the ICV sector in the OVC. These tests have the full support of departments in charge of building, corporate services and transportation in the OVC.

The next step for the valley is to create more ICV application scenarios, deepen collaborations with major enterprises along the new energy and ICV industrial chains, as well as to strengthen its talent and new digital infrastructures.
