On Dec 19, the 10th anniversary celebration of Lenovo's Wuhan campus took place in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as the Optics Valley of China, or OVC).

The Wuhan campus is Lenovo's largest and most advanced global research and manufacturing base for mobile intelligent terminals. It was completed and put into operation in December 2013. After Lenovo's acquisition of Motorola's mobile business in 2014, related operations were established in Wuhan.

Over the past 10 years, the campus has produced a cumulative total of 240 million mobile intelligent terminal devices, generating nearly 400 billion yuan ($55.75 billion) in industrial output value.

It has consistently ranked first among the top 50 private manufacturing companies in Wuhan for several years, and achieved an export value exceeding $42 billion, ranking first in Hubei province for eight straight years.

The Wuhan Campus has deeply integrated new IT technologies such as big data, industrial internet, and 5G. It has comprehensively promoted digitalization and intelligent transformation, built a smart supply chain system, and been recognized as a green factory and a demonstration intelligent workshop in Wuhan.

During the event, the campus unveiled its first mobile intelligent terminal device for the new decade, the Moto Razr 40 Ultra – a limited edition smartphone that features a 3.6-inch full-cover external screen with high resolution, high refresh rate, and wide color gamut. It is lightweight, thin, and durable, and supports multi-angle suspension.
