Recently, a total of 10 enterprises have made it onto the "2023 Wuhan Benchmark Intelligent Factory" list. FiberHome, with its goal of creating Wuhan's first "5G+F5G" dual 5G smart factory, ranked first. It is based in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC).

With per capita efficiency doubling in five years, an operating cycle reduction of 20 percent, and a delivery cycle reduction of 30 percent, FiberHome has achieved impressive results in 5G+industrial Internet construction over the past five years.

Its main business includes optical transmission, access, servers, big data, optical distribution frames, fiber optic cables, and ocean networks.

"Our construction approach is to utilize the technology of 5G+industrial Internet to manufacture 5G products," said Yang Xiao, the technical director of FiberHome's systems and equipment manufacturing department.

The company has undergone intelligent transformation in IoT platform, information system integration, intelligent machine vision, and network security to achieve this.

The implementation of intelligent detection has significantly improved accuracy and saved the company 8 million yuan ($1.12 million) in annual labor costs. Using the IoT platform, equipment efficiency has increased by 30 percent, resulting in a reduction of 20 million yuan in fixed asset investment annually.
