During the event, agreements for four Sino-German cooperation projects were signed, two of which will be constructed in OVC. FiberHome partnered with a German internet enterprise and Wuhan Detian Duhou Network Technology Co collaborated with a German company to increase the throughput of overseas warehouses, reduce logistics costs, and enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

On Nov 6, the provincial business delegation held the China (Hubei)-Italy Industry Match-Making Meeting in Florence, Italy. The deputy consul general of the Chinese Consulate General in Florence, the diplomatic advisor to the mayor of Florence, representatives from renowned Italian enterprises, and officials from chambers of commerce attended the event.

During the visit, representatives from the valley also visited more than 10 European institutions and companies, including BMW Group and Bayern Group, introducing the valley's industry, innovation, talent, and openness to encourage European enterprises to invest or increase their investments in OVC.

In the future, the East Lake High-tech Development Zone will continue to carry out such overseas promotion activities, visiting North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, the Middle East, and other regions, to seek cooperation with local governments, enterprises, universities, and research institutes.
