The Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and two other central government departments have jointly identified 367 enterprises and 115 projects for cultural export from 2023 to 2024.

Five companies based in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC) were selected – Wuhan Wepie Network Technology Co, Transn IOL Technology Co, Wuhan Mingee Tech Co, Wuhan Dobest Information Technology Co, and Wuhan KuYou World Technology Co.

Wuhan Wepie Network Technology Co's Gluttonous Snake game and Transn IOL Technology Co's international screen culture translation service platform were among the projects for cultural export.

Wepie focuses on the development, operation, and globalization of mobile internet games and social products. Transn is a leading language technology company in China, providing context-based translation and multilingual information services for enterprises and individuals. Supported by AI, it also aggregates global translators and translation organizations.
