The 19th Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum (OVC Expo 2023) is scheduled to open on May 16 in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC), Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province. The day coincides with the International Day of Light.

Themed "Light Links World, Wisdom Leads Future," the annual academic and industrial extravaganza will reportedly invite 17 academicians, more than 20 experts with international influences, over 300 renowned corporate representatives, and some 600 industry heavyweights. The number of professional audiences participating in the event is expected to surpass 20,000.
