Os-easy Group Holding Ltd, a multi-infrastructure desktop cloud provider based in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC), has served more than 12 million clients from governments, enterprises, and educational, medical and financial institutions.

"We have moved the storage and computing capacity of the computer to the cloud, and there are only screens, mice, and keyboards locally. IT managers can take full control of the CPU, internal storage, operating system, and software for study or business. The desktop is accessible at any place at any time, and the entire desktop layout and all data are portable," said Zhang Hui, vice president of the company.

Os-easy's desktop cloud currently occupies 50 percent of the higher education market share in China, and more than 1,900 domestic colleges conduct teaching, practical training and research via the desktop cloud.

"In the past, computers we have purchased required updating several years later. The desktop cloud can reduce clients' comprehensive costs, and the data will be safer. Now they just need to rent computers and relevant services, instead of buying new computers," Zhang added.

The company now has entered a fast-growing period. Its sales revenue exceeded 100 million yuan ($14.49 million) in 2019, and last year it generated 235 million yuan in sales, up 47 percent year-on-year. It has also been named a national high-tech firm and a provincial specialized and new little giant corporation.

This year, Os-easy has hired more than 200 college graduates, raising its total number of employees to over 500. The company has now set up 77 service centers and six subsidiaries throughout China.
