HGTECH Co – the first laser-based hi-tech company to go public in China, a leading company in China's laser industry and one of the top 100 Chinese electronic information companies – has been swamped with overseas orders for the whole year due to mounting demand for high-end equipment from foreign markets.

Statistics released by the firm suggest that over the past year, the scale of HGTECH's overseas business surged by 40 percent, including a 108-percent growth in sales of laser intelligent equipment. Related products have covered the majority of European markets.

The firm established China's first intelligent flow production line in the laser field in March 2021, achieving automated large-scale production of standard products. Before the production line began operating, it usually took nearly two weeks to produce one laser cutting machine. Now it takes just eight hours.

With the machine produced by the firm, a 10-millimeter-thick steel plate can be processed in just a few seconds. All technicians need to do is translate their needs into specific programs. The machine reduces labor intensity, raises efficiency, and is considered more precise and eco-friendly.

The manufacture and sales of high-end laser cutting equipment used to be dominated by foreign companies, but HGTECH's market share has expanded in recent years. For example, sales of its three-dimensional five-axis laser cutting machine currently ranks first domestically and third globally.
