A variety of activities were held for international students who stayed in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, on Little New Year ("Xiaonian" in Chinese), which fell on Jan 26 this year.

In the international exhibition hall of the School of International Studies at China University of Geosciences, traditional food such as fried dumplings and noodles were made.

Chinese faculty members and international students exchanged traditional specialties and made Spring Festival couplets together.

That same day, international students from the Sino-Africa Joint Research Center celebrated the festival in the Wuhan Botanical Garden, where they were taught to write the Chinese character for fu, which means "good luck" in Chinese.
