Transn IOL Technology Co, a leading artificial intelligence language service provider based in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC), has lent its advanced AI translation technology to the fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE), which was held on Nov 5-10 in Shanghai.

This was the fourth time the company had offered such translation and interpretation services to CIIE. In order to help foreign visitors overcome language barriers, Transn sent professional teams specially trained to serve CIIE.

Transn was also the exclusive language service hardware provider for the expo, and every exhibition hall was installed with the company's intelligent translation devices. Among them, Transn Box stood out, as it is able to provide 24/7 translation services in 12 languages. There were more than 80 such language services at the expo.

Since 2007, Transn has undertaken over 10 national, provincial and municipal AI-related research programs, and has submitted 283 patents, with 135 of them being approved.

The company has also independently developed the IOLAIDrive system, which is based on deep learning, big data analyzing and processing, and distributed computing and supports the management, information screening, and semantic analysis of a large amount of language data.

Transn has also established its own online language translation platform and promoted a more intelligentized, standardized language service. The platform has already been applied in more than 30 other industries, reducing translation costs by up to 50 percent.
