The 2021 China 5G+Industrial Internet Conference will be held in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone, also known as Optics Valley of China, on Nov 19-21, according to a press conference held by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Hubei Provincial Government in Beijing on Oct 18.

The term of 5G+industrial internet refers to the use of new-generation information and communication technologies represented by 5G to build new infrastructure, application models, and industrial systems that are deeply integrated with the industrial economy. 

Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Hubei Provincial Government, the national conference will focus on typical applications, integrated innovations, and key 5G+industrial internet technologies. 

It will also discuss how 5G+industrial internet consolidates the foundation of digital economic development and helps with the intelligent upgrading of industries, as well as promote more integrated innovation in 5G and industrial internet.

According to the conference schedule, a national 5G+industrial internet industry meeting will be held in Wuhan on Oct 19, and the opening ceremony of the conference and two main forums will be held on Oct 20.

More than 20 special meetings themed around applications in key industries such as mining, steel, transportation, manufacturing, and power, as well as key technologies related to smart cities and blockchain application industrial intelligence, will be held during the three-day event. 

An achievement exhibition of 5G+industrial internet will be held concurrently, displaying many key 5G technologies, industrial public service platforms, and key industries for 5G applications and typical 5G-based industrial application scenarios for the specific needs of the industrial internet.
