Customized moon cakes from Wuhan universities debut

With the three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday approaching, two Wuhan-based universities – Huazhong University of Science and Technology and China University of Geosciences – have launched customized moon cakes made by school employees.

Moon cakes made by China University of Geosciences feature not only delicate designs, but also as many as 11 distinct flavors that meet needs and tastes of all groups of people, including wine and cranberry, yolk, sweetened bean paste, beef, and mixed nuts. In addition to the traditional Chinese type, the university has also made snow skin moon cakes, which have seen increasing popularity recently.
