The Lingjiashan football field in East Lake High-tech Development Zone -- also known as Optics Valley of China and located in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province -- will soon open to public, according to local media reports.

Located at the intersection of Guanggu Avenue and Lingjiashan North Road, the facility covers an area of 7,843 square meters, with the actual football field covering 3,543 sq m.

With four five-a-side football fields and one three-a-side field, it comes equipped with enclosures, suspended ceilings, lighting, drainage and other auxiliary facilities.

The football field is to be operated under the model of "charity first and supplemented by profit" -- providing non-profit venue services to the community. It is also equipped with professional football coaches, referees and logistics teams.

New energy vehicle charging stations will also be installed, to bring convenience to residents.
