The construction of Kingsoft Office Software Co Ltd's (Kingsoft) Wuhan headquarters project started at the Optoelectronic Information Industrial Park of Optics Valley (East Lake High-tech Development Zone) on Jan 6. The park is in Wuhan, the capital city of Central China's Hubei province.

With an investment of 4 billion yuan ($619.6 million), the project will become a multi-functional center for games, art, digital healthcare and more, employing 3,000 people within five years after construction is completed.

In November 2017, Kingsoft's team started to settle in Optics Valley, and its development in the past three years has far exceeded expectations. Kingsoft currently has 11 registered companies in Optics Valley and nearly 1,000 employees in Wuhan.

In the next decade, based on cloud computing and office software, Kingsoft will continue to expand the construction of its Wuhan headquarters by integrating cutting-edge innovative technologies.
