Recently, East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) in Wuhan, the capital city of Central China's Hubei province, briefed and rewarded seven award-winning enterprises for the third selection for Optics Valley Quality Award.

Yangtze Optical Electronic Co Ltd and HGTECH Co Ltd were given the 2019 Optics Valley Quality Award's excellence award and received 1 million yuan ($152,800) respectively.

The remaining five enterprises were given the Optics Valley Quality Award's good award and a cash prize of 300,000 yuan respectively.

The Optics Valley Quality Award is the highest honor for quality established by the zone.

The latest selection involved a new, more comprehensive assessment method.

In the future, the zone will encourage and cultivate a number of enterprises, institutions and social organizations with leading qualities and efficiency and outstanding innovative capabilities.

It will do so by continuing to expand and develop the prestigious award, to ensure it and more of its resident companies develop high quality.
