Multinational business magazine Fortune published its 2020 Top 500 list for Chinese companies on July 27 and two of them are resident at Optics Valley -- also known as East Lake High-tech Development Zone -- located in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province.

The two that made the prestigious list are FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies Co Ltd -- a leading information and communications network product and solutions provider -- and integrated healthcare solutions provider, Humanwell Healthcare.

According to zone officials, the revenue and profit of FiberHome and Humanwell maintained a positive growth in 2019. Humanwell's annual profit last year surged 135.7 percent. Officials said there are also another three companies from Wuhan included on the list.

China's Fortune 500 list focuses on the performance and achievements of the world's largest listed Chinese enterprises over the past year.

According to statistics, the total operating revenue of the 500 listed Chinese companies reached 50.5 trillion yuan ($7.21 trillion) in 2019, an increase of 11 percent over previous year.

Net profit reached 4.2 trillion yuan, an increase of more than 16 percent over the previous year.
