Wuhan receives second batch of frozen pork aid

Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province and epicenter of the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in China, on Feb 12 received its second batch of frozen pork allocated by China's central government to help supply the city.

Over 400 tons of frozen pork, the second batch of the 2,000 tons in total, was loaded onto a train in Shanghai for the trip to Wuhan's Wujiashan Station.

On the same day, three wagons totaling 107 tons of fine dried noodles arrived at Wujiashan station.

According to railway authorities, on Feb 11-14 the railway department will use 80 refrigerated containers to successfully transport 2,000 tons of frozen pork allocated from Shanghai to Wuhan, to satisfy the demands of Wuhan citizens.
