Construction of Huanggang Science and Technology Industrial Park of Optics Valley, which was co-built by Wuhan and Huanggang in Central China's Hubei province, started on Dec 13.

Located in Huanggang's Huangzhou district, the park is the result of a deal between Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) and Huanggang to promote the interaction and integration of regional industries in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

The first project of the construction is a high-tech incubator covering 45,551 square meters with an early stage investment of 210 million yuan ($30 million).

The incubator will be equipped with workshops, research and development (R&D) offices, apartment buildings, convention and exhibition centers, as well as other service facilities. It will be finished by the end of 2020.

When finished, the park will become a new city with complete infrastructure, supporting facilities and an influential industrial agglomeration effect, which is expected to help local companies gross 50 billion yuan annually.

Based on Optics Valley of China and Huanggang's preferential investment attraction policies, the park will provide efficient services for investors.
