A delegation from China Everbright Group, a State-owned financial conglomerate, visited East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) in Wuhan, central China's Hubei province, on Sept 13, to seek new business partnerships.

The delegation was led by Li Xiaopeng, the group's chairman, and Wu Shaohua, the group's deputy general manager.

Liu Ziqing, director of the management committee of the zone, welcomed the delegation and held talks with them. 

Li said that Optics Valley is a hub for technology, innovation and education, and that the two sides could forge a mutually-beneficial financial partnership. 

Liu introduced some of the zone's latest innovations, investment opportunities, and development plans, with the goal of improving ties between the two sides.

Optics Valley will continue to optimize services and provide a good business environment for companies in the zone, added Liu.
