A delegation led by Li Dongsheng, chairman of TCL Group, an international intelligent product manufacturer and internet service provider based in China, visited Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei province, on April 19.

TCL Group signed a cooperation agreement with Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China), to establish an industrial research institute in the zone.  

According to the agreement, the research institute will focus on the research and development of AI technology and new display technology. 

The institute will seek cooperation with related universities, colleges and companies in Wuhan, to undertake research and development.
