East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) in Wuhan, Hubei province, has recently been designated a national excellent IC (integrated circuit) industrial park, at the IC Market China 2018 held in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. 

Wuhan Xinxin Semiconductor Manufacturing in Optics Valley of China was designated as one of the country’s top ten semiconductor manufacturers in 2017.

The IC Market China 2018 was hosted by China Semiconductor Industry Association and China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute (CCID).

A total of eight outstanding industrial parks have been selected nationwide, with the main assessment criteria being output value, industry scale, and growth of the IC sector in recent years.

Optics Valley of China has been home to more than 100 IC companies since 2006. Together they achieved revenues of 13.5 billion yuan ($2.15 billion) in 2017.

The IC industry in Optics Valley of China has developed steadily, with increasing numbers of professionals and improving levels of innovation.
