A delegation from the Japanese chamber of commerce led by Yasuteru Hirai, Mitsubishi Corporation’s regional CEO for East Asia, visited East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) in Wuhan, Hubei province, on March 12.

They visited Optics Valley Public Service Center and held a meeting with officials of the zone, to learn about its overall situation, industrial environment, and investment promotion policies, especially the measures that Wuhan East Lake Free Trade Zone has taken to attract foreign investment.

Liu Ziqing, director of the zone’s management committee, welcomed the delegation and introduced the business environment.

It is expected that both sides will have more exchanges and sign cooperation agreements in the future.
