Leading IT service company establishes headquarters in OVC

Chinasoft International signed an agreement with Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) in Wuhan, Hubei province, on Dec 8, to establish its headquarters for central China in the zone.

Representatives from both sides as well as leaders from Wuhan’s software industry attended the ceremony.

Established in 2000, Chinasoft International is an industry-leading company providing global software and information technology services, and it is also one of the two major suppliers for Huawei, a Chinese information and communications technology giant. 

The company plans to develop the Wuhan base into its largest service outsourcing headquarters, as well as a research, development and sales center for emerging businesses.

According to the agreement, Chinasoft International in Optics Valley of China will have three major businesses –– providing service outsourcing and solutions, cloud software park business, and education and training. 

Service outsourcing and solutions business is estimated to offer nearly 7,000 job opportunities over the next five years, with total revenues of 3.5 billion yuan ($529 million).

A cloud software park, which is the key industrial mode of JointForce, a reliable internet-based IT service crowdsourcing platform of Chinasoft International, was also launched in the zone, helping the region to build a software industry cluster, and realize transformation and upgrading of its software service industry.
