OVC EXPO 2017 to be held in Optics Valley

The 14th Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum (OVC EXPO 2017) will be held at China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center in Wuhan, central China’s Hubei province from Nov 1-3.

First held in 2002, OVC EXPO has hosted over 100 meetings, attracting more than 5,000 famous enterprises from over 30 countries and regions, as well as more than 400,000 visitors.

OVC EXPO has developed into the largest professional optoelectronic information exposition in central and western areas of China, ranking top three in the country. 

With the theme of “Light Links World, Wisdom Leads Future”, this year’s expo will focus on optical energy and intelligent technology, showcasing new products, new technologies and new solutions brought by optoelectronic technology, to promote intelligent upgrading of the optoelectronic information sector.

One summit forum, six themed forums, three high-level conferences and three special activities will be held during the expo, including the 15th Optics Valley of China Intellectual Property International Forum, the 10th International Photonics and Optoelectronics Meetings 2017, as well as signing ceremonies and product launches.

The expo will contain three exhibition halls covering an area of 20,000 square meters, providing 900 exhibition stands for more than 400 companies. 

It is estimated that over 32,000 visitors will attend the exhibition, including more than 3,000 experts, scholars and company representatives from home and abroad.

Guests including Yao Jianquan and Yin Hao, academics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Charlos Lee, chairman of SolarPower Europe will deliver keynote speeches at the main forums.

Visitors can not only experience optoelectronic products, but also have the chance to receive gifts such as unmanned aerial vehicles, automobile data recorders and robots capable of doing housework.
