Optics Valley Modern Service Park, with a planned area of about 78 square kilometers, is the pioneering area for the advancement of modern services, and a demonstration area for the development of a resource-saving and environmentally friendly society, which is advocated by Wuhan and the East Lake High-Tech Development Zone.

The park gives priority to the development of primary industries, such as software and information services, smart healthcare, creative culture, big data, financial technologies, and trade and logistics. It is committed to building a cluster of modern service industries that integrate research and development, incubation of enterprises, trade and living, international exhibitions, ecotourism, leisure and habitation.
