Optics Valley Central City, with a planned area of about 36 square kilometers, is designed to become the high-tech business center of Optics Valley.

The park was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, an influential architecture and urban planning firm in the United States. It could stand alone as an independent city and a core provider of urban functions in the Optics Valley area; and it could also work together with the seven other surrounding industrial parks to provide comprehensive urban services in headquarters economy, commerce, finance, and sci-tech exhibitions. 

The park has all urban functions and is expected to become a new center of Optics Valley, a city full of vigor offering a pleasant lifestyle and featuring modern service industries and superior administrative functions.
