A 400-meter-high skyscraper is currently under construction in Optics Valley and will become the tallest building in the area, according to an announcement by Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone on June 16.

Apart from the high-rise giant, there will be another nine buildings with a height of over 100 m that will be clustered together as the Greenland Center, including a 200-meter-high structure, five 150-meter-high structures, and two 120-meter-high structures.

The Greenland Center Project, which has received investment of nearly 16 billion yuan ($2.4 billion), expects to attract Fortune Global 500 companies and five-star hotels to meet the high-end business needs of East Lake High-tech Development Zone.
