China's first online remote verification system of registered company information was launched in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone on April 20, the Hubei Daily reported on April 24.

The system was jointly developed by the Wuhan Douyu Network Technology and Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone.It features functions such as mobile Internet, intelligent facial recognition, online business processing and cloud data storage. 

Douyutv, a live broadcasting platform, has introduced the facial recognition technology into their system, after placing their heads in the required area; it only takes about one second to recognize their identity.

The identity recognition rate of the technology has been proved to reach 99.8 percent efficiency. Once audio is added to the identity recognition, the rate can reach a 100 percent. 

The system will then check the facial features and compare it with the information recorded in the public security system.

The entire process and the relevant information will be simultaneously uploaded to the government cloud services for the required future check and verification.

To finish the process, people can also choose to use the mobile APP downloaded from the government’s official website.
