FiberHome attains total revenue of $2.52 billion in 2016

According to FiberHome Technologies Group’s latest annual report, it achieved 17.36 billion yuan ($2.52 billion) in revenue in 2016, a year-on-year growth of 28.7 percent, as well as accumulating total assets of 24.32 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 21.8 percent. 760 million yuan net profits belong to the listed company’s shareholders at a year-on-year growth of 15.7 percent. It is the 11th consecutive year that FiberHome has attained continuous and stable growth.

The main business income in 2016 was composed of 13.22 billion yuan from the domestic market at a year-on-year growth of 27.5 percent, and 3.85 billion yuan from the overseas market at a year-on-year growth of 35.5 percent.

So far, FiberHome has built complete marketing and service systems and 11 global delivery centers. Its products and services have covered 90 countries and regions.

FiberHome uses over ten percent of its average annual income for research and development of key and forward-looking technologies. It invested 1.86 billion yuan in R&D in 2016, accounting for 10.7 percent of overall revenue at a year-on-year growth of 26.7 percent - explains key reason why FiberHome is leading industrial development.

It has ranked second overall in numerous projects of three largest domestic operators; increased overseas research centers and production bases of optical networks and cables; created 10 new international offices; and dominates products in the radio, television, electric power and military networks. 

Among the rankings published by international agencies such as OVUM and CRU, FiberHome’s optical transmission product revenue ranks in the top five, with PON product revenue ranked in the top four. The overall capability of optical fibers and cables ranks in the top four, while operator routing device revenue ranks in the top seven. It has also been China’s largest exporter of optical cables for seven consecutive years.
