Since 2002, FiberHome Technologies has undertaken the construction of the first and second phase of Wuhan Rail Transit Line 1, the first phase of Lines 2, 3 and 6, the first and second phase of Line 4, Hankou north railway and the Airport Line. In 2015, FiberHome Technologies focused on the construction of Wuhan Smart Metro, bringing a wide variety of new concepts and technologies. Taking the metro signal system for example: 90 percent of urban rail transit signal systems adopt 2.4G Hz WiFi, a free public band conflicting with civil use WiFi, which will influence the safety of metro operation. However, FiberHome Technologies has succeeded in R&D and application of the fourth generation (4G) mobile communication technology in the CBTC system, and changed the Line 6 communication signal band to 1.8G Hz, solving the band conflicting problem.
