The Import and Export Processing Manufacturing Center focuses on the development of mobile terminals, integrated circuits, photoelectric devices, spatial information, 3D printing supplies, aviation kits, new energy, and environmental protection industries. First, it built a mobile terminal industry base around Lenovo MOTO, to introduce the upstream and downstream partners of Lenovo MOTO, the export-oriented intelligent terminal R&D and manufacturing enterprises, and the upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chains such as chip design, industrial design, key components production, mobile phone design research and development team, in order to form the Lenovo mobile Internet ecosystem where upstream and downstream is tightly integrated.

Second, relying on the functional advantages of the bonded area, it built four manufacturing areas for export and processing. Focusing on CAS Kaipu (Wuhan) Satellite Navigation and Communication System Engineering Co Ltd subordinates of CAS, it created the satellite navigation and communication industry area. It also developed a medical device industry area with a core set at Derun Digital Imaging Technology Co Ltd. Relying on the 30 billion-yuan integrated circuit investment fund, it gathered the industrial chain of chip manufacturing, design, packaging, and testing. It gathered a batch of upstream and downstream enterprises of photovoltaic products and created the photoelectric device industry zone.
