Since its launch in March, tech tourism in Optics Valley of China (OVC) has remained popular, with the Optics Valley Skyrail, Xiaomi Wuhan Smart Factory, and the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center emerging as the top highlights.

The Optics Valley Skyrail has become a must-visit for global tourists. Since its opening in 2023, it has welcomed over 4.2 million visitors, with more than 1 million this year alone.

The Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center has hosted over 34,000 visitors. It brings humanoid robots from the lab to the public, featuring dancing robots, hand-brewed coffee demonstrations, and interactive experiences.

Xiaomi Wuhan Smart Factory recently celebrated its 20,000th visitor, Maria Antonina, a student from Belarus. "This is a highly advanced factory. The robotic arms in the injection molding workshop left a deep impression on me," she said after her tour. "I'll definitely recommend it to my friends."

OVC currently boasts 12 tech tourism spots, including Xiaomi Wuhan Smart Factory, Electric Eagle Technology, HGTECH Laser Museum, Optics Valley Skyrail, Wuhan AI Computing Center, and Wuhan Supercomputing Center.

In September, new routes have been introduced, including the super factory, low altitude manufacturing, robot exploration, rail transit, and light and brain perception, further enriching the tech tourism experience.
